I journeyed from my hometown of Waco, Texas to attend Rhode Island School of Design. I graduated with two degrees, Interior Architecture and Architecture, and a passion for co-creating spaces.
After buying a house in 1989, setting up my design practice, and experiencing the Northeast for 17 years, my husband Scott and I moved to New Mexico. Scott specializes as a consultant in alternative wastewater design and implementation and sustainable design practices are an area of focus for us both.
In 2000, I re-established my interior design practice in Taos, creating both residential and commercial spaces. I am licensed with the National Council of Interior Design Qualification and affiliated with American Society of Interior Design (ASID). Two of my better known projects are the 18 Native American Suites at El Monte Sagrado Resort and Shadows Lounge & Grill.
We relish living in this awesome place where we can drink in the multicultural environment and hike the plethora of trails with Obi, our canine companion.
